Rebecca Forsman is Haven's Director of Attorney Recruiting. She focuses on matching talented attorneys with opportunities at leading law firms nationwide, and assisting Haven's clients in meeting growth initiatives through associate and partner placements. She began her career as an associate with an international law firm and practiced over ten years before transitioning to a career as a legal search consultant. She earned her JD, summa cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was a Merit Scholar and member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.
Rebecca has additional professional experience as an editor and an adjunct professor in the University of Texas system, teaching courses in International Human Rights Law and Legal Research and Writing. She is a certified grant writer and volunteers her services on behalf of animal welfare organizations and as an advocate for the homeless, as well as various humanitarian causes and education initiatives in the US and the developing world.
“Rebecca is the best in the business. When I decided to leave government service, she became my mentor and adviser, shepherding me through the process of returning to private practice, which resulted in multiple offers and a position with a top U.S. firm. What is great about Rebecca isn’t just her results, but how she gets you there. She listens, understands, and communicates. She opens doors. I am thrilled that I can now refer to Rebecca as both a professional mentor and a friend. I highly recommend Rebecca to anyone looking to change firms or returning to private practice.”
